Hello, and welcome to ‘Home and Away,’ a series of features where I present to you a new experience of football. I am Ryan a student at Carre’s Grammar School in Sleaford – as well as a life-long Lincoln City fan.
‘Away’ from all the money and press of the top leagues lies a very different type of football, a type of football that I consider ‘Home.’ I will be documenting the experience of lower league football on a weekly basis, providing access on and off the pitch to diverse views, opinions and observations of the fan experience as a young supporter.
I am just your average Joe, attending football games, which provides a realistic view of proper football. I will try not to let my opinions impact your experience of reading experience and keep my opinions neutral; unless I think it is necessary to mention why I and other Lincoln City fans, have certain points of view.
This week I will be attending Hillsborough as Lincoln City play Sheffield Wednesday, away on Saturday. You can expect a full ground and match review as well as a general weekly update.
